Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study

In Jos South LGA, misinformation can escalate ethnic, religious, and political tensions, leading to violence and instability. This study will examine the impact of misinformation on conflict escalation in Jos South.
1.2 Statement of the Problem
Misinformation has been identified as a key factor in the escalation of conflicts in Jos South, particularly in the context of ethnic and religious violence.
